A Brief Presentation
Bergen-Voss is one of Norway’s most cherished and long-standing sportive cycling events. Every year, thousands of cyclists from across Norway and beyond gather to take on 173 km of stunning West Norwegian terrain — from the heart of Bergen to Voss station.
The route winds through dramatic fjord landscapes, deep valleys and the majestic mountains of Vestlandet. It is as much a journey through nature as it is a sporting challenge, and the atmosphere throughout is warm, festive and deeply Norwegian.
The event has been organised by Bergen Cykleklubb (Bergen CK) since 1977, and has grown into a beloved annual tradition for tens of thousands of participants over the decades.
The Route
The 173 km route starts from Moxy Bergen, Solheimsgaten 3, and finishes at Voss station. Along the way, you pass through Fjøsanger, Os, Rolvsvågen, Kvamskogen and along Hardangerfjorden — with around 2,100 metres of total elevation gain.
